How to read this entitlement guide

Each numbered row walks through a chapter of eligibility: from Cameroonian connection and documentary proof, through the green status that shows your membership is current, to residence, bereavement, and the safeguards that keep the fund fair for everyone—including our rule on fines. Read the Notes column as the voice of the trustees: practical guidance on what counts as evidence and when we may need to look a little deeper.

1	Cohabiting with a Cameroonian	Living together as a married couple	Evidence of living together for at least six (6) months	Joint bank account, Phone bills, Children and other official documents with both names included. CAS-UK will carry out further investigation to attest proof of documents provided.

2	Green Status Flagged indication (CAS-UK System)		CAS-UK system record will indicate an up to date contributions & more than 6 Months membership	This will be an automatic update within the system.

3	Must have resided in the UK for over 6 (six) months period		DR or Hospital letter Home office letters Government Letters (e.g. DWP) Entry Visa HMRC Letters Council Letter Tenancy Agreement Bank Statements UK driving licence	CAS-UK reserve the right to decide whether the documents are valid or not. One of this document may act/stands proof of address.

4	Death Certificate		Death Certificate	CAS-UK reserves the rights to carry out further investigations in regards of death outside the UK.

5	Deceased outside the UK		British Residence Permits or Indefinite leave to Remain (ILR) or Holder of Home office Documents, Biometric Card or Passport	Any proof of residence will be dealt with under the condition of issuer's authorities
			British Passport or Spouse Visa permits documentable by British authorities	Must have been in the UK in the last three (3) years. EXCEPT FOR CAS-UK Active members for 10 consecutive years
		UK Visitor Visas	CAS-UK does not cover UK visitor visa holders when deceased outside the UK irrespective of the length of their Visa.

6	Deceased inside the UK		Must meet conditions 1, 2, 3 and 4

7	Must be over two (2) years old		CAS-UK does not cover children under two (2) years old.

8	No Pending fines due to CAS-UK	We will verify Current and previous registered names within CAS-UK system as proof of genuine registration. We will also check both present and previous names held within CAS-UK system and will be consider the name(s) with fine(s).

Closing words from CAS-UK *By joining CAS-UK under your freewill, you have to abide to a compulsory contribution and submission of documents to substantiate proof of entitlement and, until we receive these documents, we cannot launch a fundraising campaign. By sending us your documents, you give CAS-UK your consent to contact third parties if further investigation is deemed necessarily.
